A "tobacco card" (in this instance,
printed on silk) from a series depicting animals with flags, issued by
the Imperial Tobacco Co. of Canada Ltd. in 1915. The title is: "Tasmanian
Wolf - Tasmania", No. 22 / 55, and features a variant of the Tasmanian
flag. Tobacco companies began including such cards (or small silk
sheets) with their product packaging as early as 1875.
