A closer view of the stamps, which portray the Queensland Hairy-nosed Wombat (Lasiorhinus krefftii), Thylacine (Thylacinus cynocephalus), Greater Bilby (Macrotis lagotis), Bridled Nail-tailed Wallaby (Macropus fraenatus), Leadbeater's Possum (Gymnobelideus leadbeateri) and Stick-nest Rat (Leporillus conditor).  The artwork for the stamps as well as the commemorative booklet was created by Australian wildlife illustrator Frank Knight (not to be confused with American wildlife artist Charles Knight - 1874-1953).
