| Welcome to
the fourth section of the museum. Here, through a series of seven
film presentations, you will be able to view nearly all of the motion footage
sequences that are known to exist of thylacines that spent the remainder
of their lives as zoo captives.
Of all the photographic images produced
of living thylacines, these motion pictures are perhaps the most powerful
reminders of the terrible loss that the world has suffered as a result
of past generations' efforts to exterminate this beautiful and unique marsupial.
The "Motion Film Footage" subsection
presents the films as your choice of either MPEG files, or via a Java applet
which will allow you to view the films directly on web pages.
"Selected Film Scenes" displays
a set of nine representative frames from each of the seven films.
