- INTRODUCING THE THYLACINE -
.

.
This is the first section of the Thylacine Museum.  It consists of three divisions which serve as a basic introduction to the thylacine.

"What is a Thylacine?" is an initial primer for becoming familiarized with the species.

"Tasmanian Wolf" is a brief natural history of the thylacine, containing general information about its discovery, biology, behaviour, persecution by man, etc.

Lastly, in "About Australia and the Marsupials", the evolution of Australia's marsupials will be explored in a condensed discussion of the geological and biological forces which led to the continent's mammalian fauna becoming completely unique in the world.
