Perhaps one of the most spectacular of all Thylacoleo carnifex fossils
ever found, this remarkably intact skull comes from the deposits of Victoria
Fossil Cave, Naracoorte, South Australia.

shown is of a cast replica of this famous specimen. As marsupials
are one of my primary areas of interest, I must say that this replica is
certainly one of the great prizes of my entire natural history collection.
Because of how its size
compares to that of other T. carnifex skulls in general, this individual
